Admissions
Applicants to Empowerment Theological Seminary will be required to meet the following criteria:
- For the BACHELORS DEGREE – One official copy of a high school transcript or equivalent.
- For a MASTERS DEGREE – A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution, the candidates official transcript showing a G.P.A. of 2.5 or higher.
- For a DOCTORAL DEGREE – A Master’s Degree from an accredited seminary, a certified copy of the candidates transcripts showing a 3.0 G.P.A. or better in the Master’s Program and 3 letters of recommendation.
- All students will be required to complete an application form.
In addition to the above requirements, each student may be required to submit a Life Experience Resume, to qualify for admission to the Bachelor’s Program.
After evaluation of the candidate’s application, and Life Experience Resume, by the entrance committee, advance-standing credit may be granted. The committee will take into account the following factors:
- Previous course in the field of study
- Past experience in the field of study
- Church sponsored Bible Studies or Teacher Training
- Significant life events, which have a relation to self-education
- Any formal training past the Secondary School level
